Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua – FTA ratified by Costa Rica

On 26 February 2013, the Costa Rican Congress ratified the multilateral free trade agreement (FTA) among Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua, signed on 22 November 2011.

The FTA needs to be ratified by all signatories to enter into force.

It was ratified by Mexico on 9 January 2012.
