European Union and Spain: EU Treaty on Stability – entry into force published

On 2 February 2013, the Official Gazette published a note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 25 January 2013, announcing the ratification and entry into force of the EU Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union, signed on 2 March 2012.

The treaty was ratified by Spain on 9 August 2012 and entered into force on 1 January 2013.
