FTA between Ukraine and EFTA enters into force

The free trade agreement (FTA) between Ukraine and the European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland and Norway) enters into force on
1 June 2012.

The agreement gradually abolishes or reduces customs duties on trade between Ukraine and the EFTA countries.

Ukraine reserves the right to impose import duties on certain goods (e.g., vehicles and secondhand clothes), as well as the right to postpone the reduction of duties on certain categories of fish and agricultural products.
