Lesotho: Budget for 2013–14 – details

The Budget for 2013–14 was presented to Parliament by the Minister of Finance on 22 February 2013.

Details, which, unless otherwise indicated, will apply from 1 April 2013, are summarized below.

Direct taxation

Corporate taxation

No changes have been proposed.

Personal taxation

The Minister has proposed:

  • To increase the personal income tax credit from LSL5,755 to LSL6,100
  • To revise the personal income tax brackets as follows:

Over 51,670 35

Indirect taxation

No changes have been proposed.
