German 2013 Annual Tax Act fails parliamentary approval/German Business Tax Reform Act 2012 moves forward [TAX ALERT]

The conference committee version of the German Tax Act 2013, which was negotiated in December 2012, failed the necessary majority vote in the German Bundestag (the lower house) during its 17 January 2013 session.
